透過培訓及推廣遊戲治療, 令情緒教育普及化，使兒童及家長認識自我情緒。

價值
遊戲治療著重於「聆聽」、「接納」、「共勉」。
遊戲是兒童天生的語言, 遊戲也是一個治療的過程。
遊戲是一個自我接納、肯定的過程。
是一個可以被放縱及分享內心世界的過程。
遊戲不是技能培訓班，不是興趣班，不會有藥物配方。
委員會的成立，目的在於孕育優質遊戲治療師，同時提供一個專業有系統的架構，讓大眾認識遊戲治療。
架構分別有主席、副主席、委員(已完成遊戲治療師師資課程並由主席/副主席委任)、會員(註冊遊戲治療師)。
而所有架構成員必須經由香港職工教育及職業培訓協會審核授權。
國際遊戲治療專業委員會（International Gaming Therapy Commission）
旨在推動遊戲治療領域的專業發展和標準化。他們的標準主要包括以下幾個方面：
專業知識和技能：遊戲治療師需要擁有相關的專業知識和技能，包括心理學、遊戲設計、遊戲理論等方面的知識。他們需要瞭解不同類型的遊戲，以及遊戲對人們的影響。
專業倫理：遊戲治療師需要遵守相應的專業倫理準則，確保在治療過程中保護客戶的權益和隱私。他們需要建立良好的專業關係，並確保自己的行為符合專業標準。
評估和診斷能力：遊戲治療師需要具備評估和診斷客戶的能力，以確定他們是否適合進行遊戲治療。他們需要能夠收集和分析相關的資訊，制定適合的治療計劃。
治療技巧：遊戲治療師需要具備有效的治療技巧，包括遊戲選擇、遊戲引導和遊戲解讀等方面的技能。他們需要能夠運用遊戲來幫助客戶達到治療目標。
專業發展：遊戲治療師需要持續學習和提升自己的專業能力，並參與相關的專業培訓和研究活動。他們需要關注行業的最新發展，並不斷更新自己的知識和技能。
這些標準旨在確保遊戲治療師能夠提供專業、安全和有效的遊戲治療服務，幫助客戶改善心理和情緒問題，提升生活質量。

兒童遊戲治療師國家職業标準
1.職業概況
1.1 職業名稱：兒童遊戲治療師
1.2 職業定義：在遊戲治療中，讓每位兒童更了解自己，從而提升個人發展。
1.3 職業等級：本職業共設三個等級，分别爲：準註冊兒童遊戲治療師（職業能力中級）、準註冊兒童遊戲治療師（職業能力高級）、兒童遊戲治療師講師（職業能力師資級）。
1.4 職業環境條件：遊戲治療室 。
1.5 職業能力特征：具有一定的學習、分析、語言表達和組織協調能力。
1.6 基本文化程度：修畢課程。
1.7 培訓要求
1.7.1 培訓期限：準註冊兒童遊戲治療師不少于20标準學時及考核合格；註冊兒童遊戲治療師不少于70标準學時及考核合格；兒童遊戲治療師講師不少于130标準學時及考核合格。
1.7.2 培訓教師：培訓教師應掌握兒童遊戲治療理論知識，具有豐富的遊戲治療工作經驗、良好的語言表達和思維拓展能力。培訓兒童遊戲治療師的教師應具有本職業兒童遊戲治療以上職業能力證書或相關專業、技術職務任職資格；
1.7.3 培訓場地設備：兒童遊治療室。
1.8 鑒定要求
1.8.1 适用對象：從事或準備從事本職業的人員。

準兒童遊戲治療師註冊準則：
完成兒童遊戲治療師中級課程
考核合格及出席率合格
完成實習8小時
兒童遊戲治療師註冊準則：
完成兒童遊戲治療師高級課程
考核合格及出席率合格
完成實習16小時(包括督導2次)
準/兒童遊戲治療師註冊流程：
完成兒童遊戲治療師中級課程 / 高級課程及其要求。
下載及打印表格或從指導導師索取表格，填寫內容及交給指導導師簽名。

*本註冊制度為期2年，滿2年必需續約，如到期後一個月內還未收到相關續約申請，註冊證將會被永久取消，如需再次註冊，必需從新報讀相關課程後再作申請。
如學員註冊到期而未有續證，其網上及紙本證書同時作癈，該學員不得再展示其無效之註冊證從而得到收費及非收費活動，如有發現，本協會有權利向其學員提出法律責任，而其指導導師有責任提醒其學員此行為之嚴重性。

The purpose of establishing the committee is to nurture quality play therapists under a professional and structured system, which helps publicize play therapy.
The structure of the committee is Chairperson, Vice chairperson, committee members (who are appointed by chairperson or vice chairperson with the completion of registration), and members (registered play therapists)
All members in the committee must be appointed/approved by HONG KONG ASSOCIATION OF STAFF AND WORKERS EDUCATION AND VOCATIONAL TRAINING (REF.CP/LIC/SO/19/39470)
Registration Criteria for Intending Certified Play Therapist upon：
Completion of Child Play Therapy Course (Intermediate)
Pass on assessment(s) and fulfilment on attendance requirement
Completion of practicum (8 hours)
Registration Criteria for Certified Play Therapist upon:
Completion of Child Play Therapy Course (Advance)
Pass on assessment(s) and fulfilment on attendance requirement
Completion of practicum (16 hours with two hour supervision inclusively)
Registration Procedure for Intending/Certified Child Play Therapist:
Fulfilment of the Criteria of Child Play Therapy Course (Intermediate/Advance) respectively.
Download and print out the form or get the form from the teacher, fill in the form and ask for the teacher’s signature.

The registration is for two years. Every member should register again a month before the end of the last effective registration date or the registration certificate will be terminated permanently. The completion of the procedure of registration is needed for expiry registration certificate (relevant course(s) will have to be re sat)
